As named…this is a shed: WaterShed Grill.
Actually located just north of Squamish in Brackendale BC it’s right on the Squamish river which makes for great views…and when in season, Bald Eagles in the trees across the river. Peak season is November to January.
Don’t be turned away by the exterior look of the place…it’s a couple of rungs below a biker bar. The food is very good and the vibe is infectious. We first visited on St Patrick’s Day and the party was in full swing when we arrived; late afternoon. Put the address in your GPS because this place looks…well…like a shed and the signage isn’t easily spotted from the road.
Typical bar food but the thing to have here are the burgers and beer battered fries…skip the better for you salad, and go for the fries. If you want to pass on the burger and go light…of course they have poutine.
As expected, there are plenty of beer choices but give the Caesar a go and, if you’re really adventurous, The “Shed” Caesar is a masterpiece of engineering. You won’t believe your eyes!
Service is friendly and good. The space should be experienced…no white tablecloths to be found here!
