Usually a very busy place: The Shrimp Shack.

It’s on the way to Deception Pass and it’s very popular after being there for over 50 years. We visited on a weekday in the fall so no issue with an overflowing parking lot.

The reason to visit, in my mind, is to experience the seafood but if you don’t like creatures from the deep they also have land creatures as well. The seafood menu runs the Puget Sound spectrum…from crab to salmon to shrimp to clams to oysters. From the land think burgers…chicken, beef, elk and buffalo…with a gator as well. Veggie burger is also offered.

Come very hungry…the portions are more than generous. Could even consider sharing a plate.

Outdoor seating is covered for those less than stellar PWN days or, take it to go.

Friendly service.
