Unique experience: Tamale Shak.
It’s all about the space….cinder block and funky…..and the food is very good too! It’s small…really small but you’ll want to spend some time looking at what’s on the walls and reading all the “graffiti”….the walls and ceiling are festooned with it.
Obviously the cuisine is Mexican and the choices run the gamut with some interesting twist…a tamale pie?…it is all quite flavorful.
Service was excellent….the 2 young women running the place the day we visited are clearly people, people and were a joy to talk to.
