On everyone’s list and mine too: Stateside.
French Vietnamese with a flare on Capitol Hill. Had brunch which was a bit of fusion with more classic French fare but the Banh Mi was typical with chicken, pork and chicken liver pâté. We also had 2 pho dishes: Pho Bo….beef brisket and Bun Bo Hue….beef and pork with a crab and rockfish dumpling with quail egg. All were very good but the highlight was the smoked tofu potstickers with mustard greens accompanied by gingered black vinegar. Another disk to make me lean vegetarian!  Good wine list with the Corsican rosé a perfect match for the Banh Mi. Next time we’ll try the dinner menu which looks equally interesting.
The space is open but inviting with a nice wrap around bar and attentive staff.
