On the list: Stack 571.
I was in the general area to have this year’s rosé analyzed and decided to stop by to see what this place had to offer. It’s located in the “new Bothell”….blocks of new apartment buildings west of the old town. You’ll find this place on the ground floor of one of them. Definitely not the Bothell of years past.
This is a whiskey bar and burger joint that delivers up a good burger. I had the sow burger which came with bacon….and bacon jam….once again things go better with pork! It also came piled high with bourbon bacon slaw…would get it on the side next time…..added a bit too much juiciness to the burger risking sogginess if left too long. Didn’t happen….ate it too fast. The parmesan truffle fries were very good and came with 3 sauces: sweet BBQ with garlic aioli, a spicy romesco, and a sharp mustard based “Stack” sauce. Nod goes to the BBQ.
Their other claim to fame is that they have over 100 whiskeys available for consumption.
Service was good.
