A pleasant surprise: Puesto.
One of several locations of this small chain; this location was across the street from the Grand Hyatt and therefore very convenient for a quick lunch. It’s located in an upscale strip mall but don’t let that sway your decision. The alfresco option looked very inviting.
It was very busy the day I visited so my best option was at the bar…which was also busy so be prepared to share your personal space with your neighbors if you choose this option.
This place is all about tacos…..made daily, by hand, onsite. They were delicious and the popular choice seemed to be ordering 3 at a time. My choices were: taco of the month……this month it was chili relleno…quite spicy, followed by the Maine lobster and finally the filet mignon. They were all incredibly flavorful, the nod going to the chili relleno.
I want to make special mention of the mango margarita……absolutely delicious. You will want to have far too many of these sweet/salty libations so, be careful.
