Another pizza option: Pizza Campania.
Not on Main Street like many of the options but this spot is located just north near the fairgrounds.
The pizzas are wood fired and the crust was nicely crisp with the edges, as expected, toasted in the Neapolitan style.
Started with a beet salad with gorgonzola dressing followed by the Portugueser…clams, garlic sausage, chili oil and caramelized onions. Excellent flavors. Washed it all down with an outstanding Primitivo from the Puglia. If you aren’t into pizza, they also offer pasta as well.
They have an extensive beer offering…local and international as well as a solid wine list…by the glass and bottle.
Service was good.
