You gotta go for the views: Mountaineering Club.
There has been a real stir recently about this bar on the rooftop of the Graduate Hotel in the U District and I had a chance for a brief visit recently and it did not disappoint!
The views in all directions are…..amazing….from the Space Needle….to the Olympics, to the Cascades….and to The Mountain….are all spectacular. This is the kind of place to sit with friends while having your favorite libations as you contemplate life and all the scenery this place has to offer.
They do control how many people are at the bar…for obvious reasons…so I guess it’s possible you might not make it up on a busy night….so go for Happy Hour! Reservations can be made here if you are so inclined.
