Brunch: Marchesi.
Started in 1824, we visited one of the three current sites, this one near the Duomo and in the upscale Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping area above Prada.
It fits the upscale array of shops (apparently now owned by Prada) but it is comfortable and a great place for an early morning stop for coffee and all manner of sweet things. They also offer more traditional choices for breakfast in addition to pastries. The selection of pastries is a bit limited but there are more than enough options and you could always try some fruit jellies, a slice of cake or something chocolate. The vanilla sponge cake is a must try.
Service was good.
