A lunch stop while exploring the island: Madrona Bar & Grill.
Not our first choice but on a busy day it fit the bill. Typical bar and food but with a view that can’t be beat. They offer al fresco dining right on the sound.
Our large party dined inside and the food was good…service however was pleasant but a bit on the slow side. The menu leans toward burgers and seafood choices so I had to go with the oyster po’ boy which, while not like what you can get in New Orleans, did not disappoint. The food in general is solid but the space with the view are a real plus and the reason to visit.
