A new place in an old space: Island Pie.
Just down the street from where we were staying and it came highly recommended so we decided to give it a go. The space is fairly basic but the outdoor deck has a good view of the marina and Deer Harbor. Known for their pizza crust, which to my taste was a bit on the too chewy side, but to each his own.
We started with salad selections..the beet salad was a bit better than the kale but they were both very good. Next came pizzas….seasonal squash, sausage and CheesieGoodness done GF. I liked them all but interestingly, found the 4 cheese CheesieGoodness very tasty served on a GF rice based crust.
