Wine is food: Guardian Cellars.
In Woodinville Wine Country on an errand and thought I should pick up a bit more wine. This is one of our go to places. The winemaker, Jerry, is a retired Seattle police officer and his wines are named for all things police…..Alibi, Gun Metal, Chalk Line, Usual Suspect….you get the drift.
This was the first time I’ve been in the new tasting room in the Hollywood School area….very different space and feel than that in the prior Warehouse District location. However, the wines remain the same…. reds lean left bank Bordeaux in style although single red varietals are also available.
It’s hard to believe the growth in the number of wineries in this area…now said to be more than 100. So, this is one of many many choices.
