Unique breakfast spot: Feast & Forest.
Part of the growing list of food spots downtown, this place offers breakfast and brunch/lunch depending on the day. Probably best described as New American…with an option for grits.
Breakfast was the need of the day and choices ranged from the breakfast sandwich…nicely served on a brioche with a side of…you guessed it…grits to avocado toast to a gigantic smoked salmon flatbread. A must have is the gingerbread baby……small gingerbread bundt like cake filled with vanilla crème….delicious…..might should have two just to be even. They also have homemade pop tarts…go figure. You can wash it all down with Jarritos or Mexican Coke if so inclined. Espresso offerings were expertly prepared and presented. Their baked goods are provided by the Bandit Baking Co.
The space is great…..in an old warehouse which looks small when first viewed but there are tables in all the nooks and crannies….including a space on the second floor. Décor leans mid last century.
