Go to place near the Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier: Copper Creek.
Late lunch after hiking up to Panorama Point. We’ve tried the food at Paradise and found it to be uniformly bad so don’t try it….unless it’s packaged and from somewhere else. Even their breakfast isn’t worth the effort which tells you a lot since it’s hard to mess up breakfast.
It has the usual burgers, etc. which are good but if you go you must have the blackberry pie with ice cream….outstanding! If you’re really hooked, you can get a whole pie to go.
Al fresco dining is offered but it’s located on the busy road up to Paradise so in the peak of summer it might be better enjoyed inside.
