One of the 2 or 3 best places for pastries in Seattle: Café Besalu.
I think this place ranks just behind my number 1 recommendation: Bakery Nouveau in West Seattle.
The space is small and there is usually a line out the door as soon as it opens. They have a few tables inside and a few outside. Everything is delicious.
We visited again, more recently, to check the place out following the change in ownership a few years ago. Lines are still out the door and the quality, unchanged. These people know how to make a French pastry!
