A unique experience at 1 World Trade Center and Brookfield Place: Beaubourg

Part of Le District, an incredible French market in the Brookfield Place shopping center, this made for a nice stop to unwind after visiting the site of 9/11. It was a beautiful day and the alfresco dining would be very hard to beat anywhere else in NYC.

The menu was typically French bistro with today’s choices a tomato salad, croque monsieur and boiled shrimp. All well presented.

A must when you visit is a stroll through the market…..you will want everything. I’ve never seen something quite like this. Meats, seafood, beautiful vegetables and fruits, charcuterie, cheese….you name it…they have the finest examples to be found.
