Classic brew pub: Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro.
Visit on a Monday night if you can….it’s Irish and Folk night….live music in the park next door. Nothing like a beer and live Irish music as you down your food choice.
It’s a bar so expect the usual food with multiple beers on tap and a few ciders as well. We were looking for just a bite to tie us over on the way back to Seattle so I had the smoked salmon chowder which was solid but not my favorite. Believe it or not, I’m very partial to Ivar’s salmon chowder which is very flavorful and defines the New England version in my opinion….at least in the Pacific Northwest.
In addition to the park next door they have a large, nice deck which overlooks the park and is the place to be on Monday nights.
Service was good.
