New experience: Block Kitchen + Bar.
How to describe the cuisine? How about New Asian. What do I mean? If you know bao it usually arrives with the filling inside the bun. Not here…it arrives looking like a thick taco (aka gua bao) made from the boa dough with the filling in the cradle of the “taco”. Or, edamame with chili flakes. Or, Thai Mushroom risotto. I think you get the picture.
The restaurant opened to high acclaim and continues to deliver on that benchmark. It was so tasty that we actually visited twice!
Excellent service.
It’s an easy walk from downtown and very much worth the effort.
