Great place for small plates in Whistler Village: Bar Oso.
It’s a great for lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the other bars in Whistler. Spanish influence with small plates meant to be shared.
Had a nice BC Rosé, with one of the montaditos (Jamón Serrano). Excellent!
On another visit we tired the empanadas del dia and the pork jowl bocadillo and the beet salad….all were very good. On this visit the rosé was a Spanish rosato. I don’t think there is a bad choice to be had on the menu.
Since our first visit others have found the place and there can be a wait for one of the 30 odd seats but it’s worth the time spent.
