Italian in East Van: Bar Corso.
Another area that most tourist don’t know exist so if you’re a tourist get out of downtown and explore.
I guess I’d call it Italian with a twist since it was a new dining experience. Food options were a bit different than typical with examples being casarecce pasta with duck sausage and pickled red cabbage, prosciutto with grapefruit, roasted carrots with pine nuts…I think you get the picture. All choices are meant to share so, bring your friends. Alcohol is focused on negronis, amaris and Italian wines.
The food is a tasting experience so let your mind wander the menu and pick several options.
