How about oysters in Alexandria? Hank’s Oyster Bar.
One of a number of locations in the DC metro area this one is in the Old Town section of Alexandria and just a short walk from the harbor area.
They have everything seafood with rotating fresh selections. Various other forms of protein are also available if you don’t like the stuff raised in water.
The fried oyster dinner was very good with a nicely done side of coleslaw.
Dessert was real key lime pie….not the fake green stuff served by many restaurants! Nice and tart.
They have a number of beers on tap and a small but respectable wine list.
