On a run to pick up wine south of Seattle and needed a lunch stop: Berliner Pub.
The online wine store, Garagiste, moved from the Sodo area to Renton about a year ago and although I’ve ridden my bike frequently in the north part of Renton, our rides don’t typically include stopping for food so this was a visit to check out this purveyor of German cuisine in south Seattle.
Very good selection of German beers from throughout the country, classic pretzels and various wurst and other selections such as schnitzel, kartoffelsalat und blaukraut….helps to have a German with you! If you happen to make a mistake and visit looking for a burger they have those as well. Nice space and service so if you are in Renton and are looking for something a bit different this may be the place.
