It’s also a bottle shop: Dachi.
Insider recommendation…helps when your daughter lives here!
While the menu isn’t extensive and constantly changes due to what’s available, explore it with friends. Also offered is a tasting menu which is a good way to explore the choices. Looking for a meat and cheese tasting? They also offer a “build your own board” as well. There claim to fame are the large selections of Pet Nat wines, including Orange wines, and craft Sake’.
A few of the selections the day we visited included the house pickles, local greens with sesame vinaigrette, roasted potatoes with gochujang cheese sauce, pan seared chicken with a lime vinaigrette, house spaghetti with pork jowl and finally, wok fried beef with Japanese BBQ sauce. Nod goes to the wok fried beef which was made by the pears and the chicken…perfectly seared skin. Finished with a chocolate torte with berry compote and chantilly cream paired with…what else but a sweet wine. The chocolate was deeply rich and addictive.
They also offer outside dining as well.
